Where it’s all alright by Josie Thomson
In the future, I’ll live where it’s all alright,
A little cottage tucked away in the trees,
Smiling faces touched by cozy candlelight,
And honeysuckle in tangles ‘round the eaves.
In the future, I’ll live where it’s all alright,
My garden as green as my heart is full,
My eyes will glimmer and glow, shining bright,
Muddy boots and jumpers knit with wool.
In the future, I’ll live where it’s all alright,
All my vegetables tasty and homegrown,
Gazing at stars that once again shine bright,
I’ll be happy, living a life that’s finally my own.
